She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Hite and Helen Hite (Piersel); her husband Robert Ranfeld; her siblings, Merlin Hite, Curtis Hite and Joyce Klein; and her sister-in-law Wilma Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Grier (Ron) of Guernsey and Steve Ranfeld (Pam) of Guernsey; her grandchildren, Ryan Grier, Justin Ranfeld and Maisey Haines (Carson); her great grandchild Colter Haines; and her siblings-in-law, Darrell Klein of Oskaloosa, Carol Hite of New Sharon and Pat Hite of Pella.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home (201 W Main St, Montezuma, IA 50171). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (1224 East St, Grinnell, IA 50112).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church or the Deep River Fire Department.
