It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stella Pearson Jean of Delaware, Iowa, born in Phoenix, Arizona, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Walker and Rosemary Henson Walker; her children, Michael Scott, Joseph James and Melinda Sue; and her stepdaughter Laura Pearson Scott.

She is survived by: her husband David Pearson; her daughters, Lynne Ripperger (Tim) of Waukee and Jen Ripperger (Mike) of Des Moines; her stepsons, Steve Pearson (Zina) of Des Moines and Paul Pearson (Amy) of Des Moines; and her siblings, Jerry Allen (Debbie) of Indiana, Larry Allen of Winterset, Billy Allen of Council Bluffs and Betty Roberts of Winterset. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
