He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Stevens and Josephine Stevens; his siblings, Gerald Stevens (Darlene), Paul Stevens (Helen), Earl Stevens (LaVonne) and Katie Mattson (Howard); and his son-in-law Mark Schmidt.

He is survived by: his wife Velma Stevens (Thompson); his children, Kenny, Velma and Susan Harrington (Dan); his granddaughters, Leah Grant (Aaron) and Geena Schmidt; and his siblings, Richard Stevens (Sue) and Mary Robbins (Dave). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
