With sadness, we share the passing of Margaret M. Brandenburg of Delmar, Iowa. Margaret, born on October 27, 1940, passed away on September 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Fay and Ruth Elnora Cox (Michael); her husband Ronald A. Brandenburg; her siblings, William, Eugene, James, Ruth and Kathy; and her son-in-law Kent Coffey.
She is survived by: her former husband Larry Holmes; her children, Terri Lindemann (Brian) of Delmar, Mike Holmes (Diane) of Delmar and Sheila Coffey of Grand Mound, Iowa; and her brother Tom Cox (Linda) of Unionville, Missouri.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carson & Son Funeral Home (318 W Pleasant St, Maquoketa, IA 52060). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Carson Celebration (318 W Pleasant St, Maquoketa, IA 52060).
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be directed to the Delmar Development Fund.
