It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Raymond Kuhlmann of Denison, Iowa, born in Ute, Iowa, who passed away on October 3, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Kuhlmann and LuVern Kuhlmann (Teut); his parents-in-law, Vernon and Della Holdsworth; his brothers-in-law, Kenneth Holdsworth, Dennis DeWild and Randy Swensen; and his nephew Brian Elwell.

He is survived by : his wife Linda Kuhlmann of Charter Oak; his children, Trisha Steffen (Michael) of Wall Lake, Alaina Gierstorf (Colin) of Schleswig and Dustin Kuhlmann (Megan) of Woodbine; his sister JoAnn Elwell (Wayne) of Charter Oak; and his siblings-in-law, Don Holdsworth (Pat) of Harlan, Connie Ahrenholtz (Jerry) of Defiance, Tom Holdsworth (Julie) of Kansas City, Collen Anderson (Roger) of Harlan, Becky DeWild of Shenandoah and Carol Whittaker (Tim) of Letts. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
