She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard "Jeff" Jefferson and Catherine Goertz (Hogan); her son Bruce Calrson; her granddaughter Hanna Carlson; her siblings, Jim, Joe, Tony, Jerry, Julie and Jeanne; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Carlson, Merle Johnson and Bev Hulsebus (Jerry).
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Carlson; her daughter-in-law Tracy Carlson of Storm Lake; her children, Dan Carlson (George Jacobson) of Sioux Falls, Dave Carlson (Alicia) of Sioux Falls and Bobbie Jo Monner (Brian) of Norwalk; her grandchildren, Amanda Adams (Aaron), Nate Carlson (Becca Simpson), Ben Carlson, Ella Carlson, Harley Stewart (Zach), Aryanna Backer (Noah Mulford), Carson Backer, Alayna Backer, Roxy Monner and Ike Monner; her great grandchildren, Addison, Aubrey Adams, Elijah, Sibyl, Rowett and Laidy Stewart; her siblings, Lois Daniels, Cindy Amick, Tim Goertz (Theresa), Rita Blanchard (Brian), Keith Goertz and Cheri Goertz; and her sister-in-law Betty Johnson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Huebner Funeral Home (1437 Broadway, Denison, IA 51442).
