He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence N. Lappe and Grace Lappe (White); his wife Donna Lappe; and his brother James Lappe. He is survived by: his children, Deb Wells of Defiance, Kathy Burns (Joe) of Vina, Christine Ernsperger (Tony) of Dow City and Pat Lappe (Mindy) of Manning; and his sisters, Lois Schroeder, Linda Hahn and Jane Pagel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Huebner Funeral Home (1437 Broadway, Denison, IA 51442). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
