Derrick Siemer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Derrick Siemer of Denison, Iowa, who passed away on February 5, 2026 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Derrick may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Shauna Leigh Siemer. He is survived by: his parents, Roger Siemer and Barbara Siemer; his daughter Tess Howard (Connor); his grandson Jack Howard; his sister Nicole Chesmore (Michael); and his nieces and nephews, Brooke and Austin Chesmore.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Sheepgate (Adult & Teen Challenge) Men's Campus in Colfax, Iowa, a faith-based recovery program.
