The memory of Doug R. Rice (Denison, Iowa), born in Storm Lake, Iowa, who passed away on October 8, 2025 at the age of 70, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Rice and Dorothy Rice (Alberts); his sister Linda Robinson; and his aunts and uncles, Marjorie, Arlin Otto, Norma and LaVerne Kiefer.
He is survived by: his sister Debbie Smith (Larry) of Greenview, Illinois; his granddaughter Samantha Zamago (Orlando) of Denison; his friend Kathy Dressen of Denison; his brother-in-law Jim Robinson of Carlisle; and his uncles, Dick Rice (Monica) of Storm Lake, Ed Rice (Loa Jean) of Alta and Tom Rice (Doris) of Storm Lake. He is also survived by his niece, nephews, and numerous cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Boulders Conference Center (2507 Boulder Dr, Denison, IA 51442).
