With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Doug Seils (Denison, Iowa), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Doug left this world on June 22, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Seils and Lorraine Seils (Schulze); and his wife Jac Lynn Seils. He is survived by: his children, Traci Fineran of Des Moines, Timothy Seils (Chasity Cowden) of Des Moines and James Seils (Jamie) of Minneapolis, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Blake, Seth, Colton, Alexis, Harper, William, Halley, Maya and Riley; his great grandchildren, Kash and Declan; his sisters, Renee Neddermeyer (Marion) of Charter Oak and Merry Jacoby (Duane) of Schleswig; and his siblings-in-law, Michele Ertz (Brian) of Manilla, Myla Dirks (Donnie) of Lake View, Cindy Treinen of Denison, Marcia Treinen of Maquoketa and Tony Treinen of Mondamin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1004 1st Ave S, Denison, IA 51442). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Schools.
