With sadness, we share the passing of Edna Malone (Denison, Iowa). Edna, born on August 10, 1943, passed away on October 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Miller and Betty Miller (Blume); her husband Ivan Malone; her brothers, William Miller, Charles Miller and Butch Miller; and her nephew Tony Blackman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheri Shumate (Clay) of Dow City, Ronda Aikman (Kevin) of Denison and Penni Coenen (Rich Elam) of Dow City; her grandchildren, Kayla Schulte (Travis), Curtis Malone (Tricia), Triston Coenen (Morgan Hansen) and Kia Coenen (Tyler Irvin); her great grandchildren, Isabelle (Brad), Wiatt, Ember, Jordalynn, Sidney, Ivan and Jace; and her sister Marie Blackman of Denison. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Huebner Funeral Home (1437 Broadway, Denison, IA 51442). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
