He was predeceased by: his father Walter "Pedro" Herman; and his sister Mary. He is survived by: his mother Catherine Frances Bissen (Brandt) of Council Bluffs; his wife Carol Fuhs; his children, Jake Fuhs (Megan) of Shelby, Randi Jo Bissen (Jason Eckermann) of Harlan and Caleb Bissen (Haley) of Harlan; his grandchildren, Ryker and Reya; and his siblings, Gary Bissen (Jane) of Earling, Geralyn "Geri" Anderson (Mike) of Dunlap, Myron Bissen of Council Bluffs, Twyla Matheny (Delbert) of Council Bluffs, Helen Wolters (Terry) of Council Bluffs, Richard Bissen (Elisa) of Keller, Kevin Bissen of Harlan and Karen Bissen of Harlan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
