James Scanlan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Scanlan of Denison, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 20, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Scanlan to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, John Scanlan, Tom Scanlan and Patsy Koster. He is survived by: his wife Pam Scanlan; his son Frank; his daughter-in-law Katya Scanlan; his grandsons, Jon and Cole; his daughter Lisa; his son-in-law Greg Schoessler; his grandchildren, Anna and Hallie; and his siblings, Donna Nieland, Bob Scanlan and Pat Scanlan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Huebner Funeral Home (1437 Broadway, Denison, IA 51442). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Fisher House located at the Omaha Veterans Medical Center or a veterans' organization of your choice.
