Though Jerome may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his father Jerome Sr. Lemon; and his siblings, Kenny Lemon and Laurie Lemon. He is survived by: his mother Joleen Lemon (Aldag) of Battle Creek; his sisters, Mary Morgan of Odebolt and Julie Hoefling of Odebolt; and his son Jake Fechner of Kansas.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Huebner Funeral Home (1437 Broadway, Denison, IA 51442). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at the St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery (17 S Orchard St, Kiron, IA 51448).
