It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Preul (Denison, Iowa), who passed away on August 23, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Larry Preul to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Preul and Florence Preul (Wessel); his siblings, Ardelbert, Rovanis and Janice Christiansen; and his grandson Johnny DeLeon.
He is survived by: his friend Tom White; his wife Mary Preul; his daughters, Cyndi Bueno (Rudy) and Kelly Beck (Randy); his grandchildren, Bronté DiSano (Anthony), Allyson Bueno, Brandon Bueno (Skyler) and Taylor Gutierrez (Luke); and his great grandchildren, Holden DiSano, Reign, Wyatt, Ryder Bueno and Harley Gutierrez. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1004 1st Ave S, Denison, IA 51442). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Cleveland Clinic Alzheimer's Unit in Las Vegas, Nevada Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health - Las Vegas | Cleveland Clinic.
