She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl and Irene; her husband James Welsh; her son Leo Welsh; her siblings, Leo Joseph Hanrahan (Marian) and Madonna Mae Hoemann (Kenneth); and her brother-in-law Wesley Riley.
She is survived by: her son Daniel Joseph of Ida Grove, Iowa; her grandchildren, Kassidy Siemer (Christopher) of Denison, Tanner Welsh (Madison) of Bloomington, Indiana, Tyler Welsh of Harlan, Cory Welsh of Los Angeles and Sydney Welsh (Patrick) of Los Angeles, California; and her sister Thresia Riley of Carroll. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
