She was predeceased by: her parents, Meinhard Feddersen and Henny Feddersen (Ketelsen); her husband Alan Garrett; her grandchildren, Chad Alan and Mandi Arlene Thomsen; her siblings, Margaret Ann Hageman, Julia Faye Prussing, Hans Feddersen and Ronald Feddersen; and her son-in-law John Stephens.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Stephens, Lori (Byron), Lynette Grindle (Kevin) and Mark Garrett (Lori); and her siblings, John Feddersen, Elfrieda Waldemar, Betty Guy, Jenny Lambert and Joleen Vincent. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
