In the vast expanse of eternity, Mike shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mike farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Patricia Murtaugh (Francis) and John "Jack" Clarey. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Clarey of Denison; his siblings-in-law, Dr. Lois Godiksen of Washington, D. C., Karen McPartland of Council Bluffs, Dr. James Hansen (Anniek) of New York City and Lloyd Hansen of Denison; and his nephews, Sam Hansen and Dan Murtaugh. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 812 4th Ave S, Denison, IA 51442.
