She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrell Bengtson and Catherine Bengtson (Endreson); and her brother Roger Bengtson. She is survived by: her sons, Jason Gesy (Stormy) of Omaha and Mark Gesy (Jennifer) of Ankeny; her grandchildren, Dillon Gesy, Colin Gesy, Madison Gesy and Jase Gesy; her sister Shirley Bengtson of Denison; and her sister-in-law Patty Bengtson of Arizona. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Huebner Funeral Home (1437 Broadway, Denison, IA 51442). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church (113 S 14th St, Denison, IA 51442).
