We are sad to announce that, on July 11, 2025, at the age of 86, Shirley Garrett (Denison, Iowa), born in Carroll, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olive North and Dowling; her son Dale Garrett; her husband John Garrett; and her siblings, Arlo North, Arlene Birney, Donald North, Olive Mae Griffin, John North, Jim North, Glen North, Mary Lou North and LaNora North.
She is survived by: her children, Randall Garrett (Vicki) of Eureka Springs, AR, Robin Bedsaul (Ron) of Dow City and Vicki Hoover (Jason) of Elkhorn, NE; and her grandchildren, Megan Mills (Shaun), Joshua Garrett (Stephaine), Sarah Spencer and Sophia Hansen (Shawn). She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in her honor.
