It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Joseph Brungardt (Denison, Iowa), who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Brungardt and Margaret Brungardt (Robben); his wife Janice Brungardt; his daughter Pam Putt; and his siblings, Lillian Riddle, Gilbert "Bud" Brungardt and Frances Jacobson.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Brungardt of Vail, Tina Miller (Jay Lally) of Denison, Paul Brungardt of Denison, Jodi Summerfield (Ken) of Dunlap, Kurt Brungardt (Ainsley) of Westside and Michael Brungardt (Janelle) of Denison; his grandchildren, Jake, Theresa, Casey, Jai, Jenna, Nicholas, Cory, Claire, Rachel, Mason, Cody, Adam, Jordan, Alec, Peyton, Kelby and Leigha; and his sister Margaret "Bea" Kelly of Grandview, Missouri. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the family for future bowling scholarships.
