He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lorain "Shorty" Diercks and Darlene Wright Diercks Rath; his daughters, Jessica Wenger (Dan) of Waterloo and Jennifer Gardner of Naples, Florida; his grandchild Kiya Selleck; and his siblings, Sherry Barker (Bryan) of Nevada, Dennis Diercks of Waterloo, Julie Steere (Dorsey) of Tripoli, Vicki Kaufman (Randy Siems) of Fairbank and Gary Diercks of Denver.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home (110 S State St, Denver, IA 50622). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery (701 E Fayette St, Denver, IA 50622).
