He was predeceased by: his brother Michael Yon; his uncles, Savuth Chak and Sambo Chak; his grandparents, Yuon Sing and Chak Phuong; and his great-grandparents, Juan and Lucia Chapa.
He is survived by: his parents, Marla Borges and Jorge Borges; his siblings, Shayla Castine (Andre), Javier Borges and Newell Chak; and his nieces and nephews, Lydianah, Taleah Castine, Andre Castine, Jr. and Kyro Chak. He is also survived by his family, friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Memorial Services of Iowa (4208 N Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, IA 50023). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
