He is survived by: his wife Susan Trainer; his children, Joe Trainer, Annie Mitchel (Sam), Mary Trainer and Rebecca Trainer; his grandchildren, Simon Peter Mitchel, Dominic Gerard Mitchel, Samantha Anne Mitchel and Penelope Marie Mitchel; and his pets, Lucy, Lily and Maggie.
