She is survived by: her parents, Mark Barrett and Julie Thrasher; her sister Audrey Dingeman; her stepsiblings, Jill Kain and Ryan Spomer; her husband Quentin Sorenson; her children, Jude Sorenson (Iowa) and Coral Matthes (Iowa); her stepparents, Jim Thrasher (Arizona) and Jody Barrett (Iowa); her brother-in-law Brian Dingeman (Florida); her sister Kelsi Thrasher (Florida); and her siblings-in-law, Key Kain (Iowa) and Meghan Spomer (Iowa).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa be made in Alison's name.
