He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivar Erickson and Olaug Erickson; and his sister Lynne Elwell. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Erickson; his children, Brian Erickson (Betty), Kathi Bieghler (Don) and Michael Erickson (Julie); his grandchildren, Justin Wolfe, Whitney Klein, Brandon Wolfe, Elizabeth Erickson and Devin Erickson; and his great grandchildren, Ryder Klein, Aiden Klein, Norah Wolfe, Oliver Wolfe, Hudson Wolfe, Everett Wolfe and Adalynn Wolfe.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grandview Lutheran Church (2930 E 13th St, Des Moines, IA 50316). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Grandview Lutheran Church in Arnold's memory.
