She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Thomas and Doris Thomas (Hemphill); and her husband James Lee Borst. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Borst, Michael Borst (Wendy), Heather Miller (Anthony), Robert Borst and Melissa Borst; her grandchildren, Zachary Borst, Cody Borst, Logan Borst (Taylor), Brayden Borst, Riley Borst (Lexi), Evan Borst, Devun Miller (Kelsie), Collin Miller (Kourtney), Maddison Miller, Kira Borst and Tucker Borst; and her great grandchildren, Lillian, Zoey, Eleanor, James, Quynn, Emmitt and Warren. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Dorothy's House, the Animal Rescue League of Iowa or Autism Society of Iowa in loving memory of Barb.
