With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernie Mouw of Des Moines, Iowa, born in Sioux Center, Iowa, who passed away on April 9, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Mouw and Dr. Bernard Neil Mouw; his sister Mikell; and his in-laws, Alice and Edwin Sneller.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Jill Roehrick (John) and Matthew Mouw (Mary); his grandchildren, Joshua (Cally), JeremyRoehrick, Lily and Macy Mouw; his great grandchildren, Jackson and Justin Roehrick; his sister Leslie; and his brothers-in-law, Kent (Becky) and Paul Sneller (Patty). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
