She was predeceased by: her parents, George Jones and Virginia Jones; her grandson Robert "Robbie" Sears; and her sister Thelma Harris. She is survived by: her husband Frank Sears; her children, Gloria Sears, Marvin Sears (Kari) of Des Moines and Craig Sears of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Courtney Fox (Ben), Melody Sears, Emma Sears, Kelly Sears, Derek Bittick (Kristine) and Schuyler Sears (Hannah); her great grandchildren, Kelly Jr., Dominic, Dilana, Madilyn, Jameson, Callan and Quinnlyn; and her sister Ann Collier of Groveland, Florida. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or the Iowa School for the Deaf Foundation in loving memory of Betty.
