She is survived by: her children, Jon Atherton, Leisyl Ann (Des Moines) and Jeff; her nieces and nephews, Michelle, Scott Parman, Kris, Kirk, Karla Driskell (McCowen), Jeffrey Alan McCowen of Leavenworth, KS and Beth Ann (McCowen) of Avoca, IA.; and her sisters-in-law, Barb McCowen of Oakland and Gloria McCowen of Coin, IA..
