He was predeceased by: his parents, Freda Gunderson and Joe Gunderson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his children, Sigrid (Lane) of Charles City, IA, Joe (Mary Pat) of Des Moines, IA, Bill (Laura) of Boulder, CO and Jim (Jody) of St. Louis, MO; his sisters, Joann Jorgensen of Northfield, MN and Claire Heimarck of Leona, NJ.; and his friend Des Moines. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
