He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Howard Walton II and Helen Goodwin Walton; his siblings-in-law, Dr. Vernon Varner, Kristin Peterson and Rachel Holmquist; and his nephew Mathew Carl Livengood.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his son Ryan; and his siblings-in-law, Beth Livengood (Curtis Livengood) of Marion, IA, Mary Varner of Shaker Heights, OH, Dr. Jeffry Peterson of Spirit Lake, IA, Peter Jacobs (Mary) of Yorktown, VA, Susan Hemminger (John Hemminger) and Don Holmquist of Rochester, MN.
