She was predeceased by: her parents, Burton James "BJ" and Marjorie "Darlene" Brockway; and her husband Steve Person. She is survived by: her daughters, Brandi Jackson (Aaron) and Brooke Person; her grandchildren, Brock (Rylie VanWyk), Boman and Brili Jackson; her brother Bruce Brockway; and her pet Bubba.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamilton's Funeral Home (605 Lyon St, Des Moines, IA 50309). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at the Canfield Cemetery (1500 NE 88th St, Runnells, IA 50237).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation or an organization of the donor's choosing.
