It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Maye Hawthorne of Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on October 11, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Ralph Jones; her husband Virgil Hawthorne; her mother Maye S Hall; her sons, Martin Isenberger and Birton Isenberger III; her siblings, Marilyn McFadden, James Hall and Brian Hall; and her son-in-law Lawrence Livingston.

She is survived by: her daughters, Rita Davidson, Angela Isenberger, Traci Frasier and Jaime Todd (John); her stepchildren, Patricia York (David) and Michael Hawthorne; and her sister Pamela Hall-Hearn. She is also survived by five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
