With sadness, we share the passing of Catherine Kephart in Des Moines, Iowa. Catherine, born on August 7, 1955, passed away on September 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hohl and Mary Holsopple; and her brother Tom Hohl. She is survived by: her children, Lavon Franz (Nick Tieskotter) and Michael Kephart (Sheryl); her grandchildren, RJ Sholley, Hope Bosely (Destyn), Shawn Franz and Kyle Franz; her great grandchildren, Kali Bosely, Bo Bosely, Carter Bosely and Isaiah Robert Dean Carte; and her siblings, Carla Ransom, Martie Ramos, James Hohl and Henry Hohl.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McHenry Park (1012 Oak Park Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313).
