He was loved and cherished by many people including: his close friends, Jimmy Buffet and Hawkeye of Iowa; his wife Dawn Sherry Paragas McCune; his children, Brynn Taylor McCune (Jaysan Peterson) and Cael Samuel Paragas McCune; his sister Tracy Swenson (Carl); his stepsiblings, Diana Todd (Shannon) and Tim Klaassen (Ann); his mother-in-law Liwayway Paragas; and his siblings-in-law, Suzanne Sorensen (Eric), Esther Murphy (Craig) and Richard Paragas (Jessica). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to a Memorial which has been established.
