With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Thomas Strief of Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on July 4, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Strief and Mildred Strief (Jeri). He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his daughter Carrie Strief (Zach Navarro); his grandchildren, Emily and Evan; his siblings, Wendy Shearer (Harrie) of Minneapolis, Ann Buerle of Savannah, GA, David Strief (Vickie) of Tucson, AZ and John Strief (Brenda) of Iowa City; and also Dawn Strief. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wakonda Club Wakonda Club (3915 Fleur Dr, Des Moines, IA 50321).
