She was predeceased by: her father Warren Smith. She is survived by: her husband Rodney Kubik; her children, Stephanie Decker (Brandon), Ashley Kubik (Cord McMahon) and Ryan Hodges; her mother Penelope Smith (Cowell); her brother Vance Smith; and her in-laws, Kim Kubik, Douglas Kubik, Ellen Holcomb, Christopher Kubik (Janet) and Lisa Weatherall (Jim). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Croatian Fraternal Slavic Center (6575 Indianola Ave, Des Moines, IA 50320).
