With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christine Snelson (Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on February 12, 2026 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Johnson and Mary Johnson (Beem); and her pet Chloe. She is survived by: her son Greg Baird (Kris); her siblings, Donna Reynolds, Bud Johnson, Bill Johnson (Denise), Jim Johnson (Deb), Tom Johnson (Rhonda), John Johnson (Janet), Mary Glick (Sam), Steve Johnson and Dee Wood; and her stepdaughter Kayla Trumbo. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flower, memorial contributions may be directed to Wounded Warriors in loving memory of Chris.
