She was predeceased by: her mother Darlene Gooding; and her cousin Phyllis Franzen. She is survived by: her husband Art McNaul; her children, Mindy (Joe Stout), Greg Palmersheim Jr., Sam (Sheri McNaul), Amy (Jeff Rost) and Jay McNaul; her grandchildren, Alex, Hayden, Rae Lynn, Elijah, Isaiah and Sebastian; and her close friend Emily Brown.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henderson's Highland Park Funeral Home. A Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Cathedral (607 High St, Des Moines, IA 50309). A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 and on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Rising Sun Cemetery.
