We bid farewell to Constance L. Farris (Des Moines, Iowa), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 9, 2025 at the age of 83. Constance touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Constance shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Constance farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Popejoy and Viola May Popejoy (Reed); her former husbands, Leon McCombs, Sr. and Marvin House; her husband Dan Farris; and her children, Steven McCombs and Laurie McCombs.
She is survived by: her son Leon; her daughter-in-law Alisa McCombs; and her sister Joyce Gunderson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
