He is survived by: his wife Virginia Sample (Sample); his daughters, Connie Anderson (Dan) and Penny Garrison (Terry); his sister Nancy Virden; his grandchildren, Shawna Gregory (Mark), Nick Anderson (Shanea), Melissa Schultz (Devon), Ryan Anderson (Rachel), Zachary Anderson and Matthew Garrison (Kirsten); and his great grandchildren, Kieran, Rory, Kinsley, Sophie and Blake.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hamilton's Funeral Home (605 Lyon St, Des Moines, IA 50309).
