Danny Ray Armstrong Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Danny Ray Armstrong (Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on September 27, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Danny may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Danny touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Junior Armstrong and Norma Armstrong (Curtis). He is survived by: his brother Steve Armstrong; his half-brother Aaron Gilbert; Danny Armstrong Jr., Joey Armstrong and Jennifer Armstrong.
The military honors will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery (34024 Veterans Memorial Dr, Adel, IA 50003).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Iowa Veterans Foundation in honor of Danny.
