With solemn reverence, we commemorate Darby Joann Matteson (Des Moines, Iowa), born in Bismarck, North Dakota, whose life came to an end on April 22, 2024 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Matteson and Lucy Matteson; and her brother Barry Matteson. She is survived by : her sister Berma Matteson of Brookings, OR; her children, Rebecca Thomsen (Brent) of Des Moines, Scott Ingle (Brenda) of Mitchellville and Shari Ingle of Kansas City, MO; her grandchildren, Taylor, Olivia, Jay, Cole and Jakob; and her great grandchildren, Scarlett, Leo and Lainey. She is also survived by nieces, nephew, and many cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Willow on Grand (6011 Grand Ave, Des Moines, IA 50312).
