With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dave Featherstone (Des Moines, Iowa), born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on July 11, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dave Featherstone to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Featherstone and Margaret Featherstone (Walden); and his brother Jerry Featherstone. He is survived by: his wife Vickie; his sons, Michael Featherstone and Jeff Featherstone (Jill); his grandchildren, Cheyenne, Eric (Alexandra), Cade, Cierra, Aubrey and Alexander Featherstone; and his sisters, Lillian Featherstone and Mary Featherstone (Herb Brodsky). He is also survived by other extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hamilton's Funeral Home (605 Lyon St, Des Moines, IA 50309). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery (34024 Veterans Memorial Dr, Adel, IA 50003).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family for a future designation.
