He is survived by: his children, Michael King, Josh King (Jessie) and Shyanne Rettenmeier (Alec); his grandchildren, Braeden, Baylee, McKenna, Axel and Shepherd; his great grandchild Beckett; his siblings, Carla, Jeff and Steve; and his aunts, Sally and Mary. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home (5400 SW 9th St, Des Moines, IA 50315).
