He is survived by: his wife Corliss McDonald of Des Moines; his children, Neil McDonald (Julia) of Des Moines and Amy O'Brien (Josh) of Ankeny; his grandchildren, Jake, Connor, Riley O'Brien and Bella McDonald (Noah Fopma); his sister Judy Skay of Washington; and his nephews, Alan Skay (Lisa) of Washington and Dan Skay (Lynette) of Colorado.
