He was predeceased by: his parents, Maryann Miller (Anania) and Richard P Miller Sr.; and his wife Barbara Miller. He is survived by: his son Richard Lee Miller; his siblings, Richard P Miller Jr. (Muriel), David Miller (Cindy), Charlie Miller (Juli) and Jerry Miller; and his friend Celeste Comito. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Scripture Service Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home (5400 SW 9th St, Des Moines, IA 50315). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home (5400 SW 9th St, Des Moines, IA 50315). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (15 Indianola Rd, Des Moines, IA 50315).
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Dennis to be dispersed among his favorite charities.
