He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrit Swigart and Ruby Swigart (Gilliland); his son Douglas Swigart; and his brother Frank Swigart. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Swigart; and his children, Darvin Swigart (Karen) and Shellie Brown (Gary). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
