She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Dobson and Virginia Dobson (Crawford); and her in-laws, John and Pauline Meek. She is survived by: her husband Bill Meek; her children, Lori Meek Schuldt (Michael) of Glen Ellyn, IL, Cindy Meek of Des Moines and David Meek (Samantha) of Denver; her grandchildren, Rachel Schuldt (Megan Elk) of Chicago, Tyler Nelson (Sarah Sussex) and Sarah Nelson of Des Moines; her brother Dennis Dobson (Lynn); and her nieces, Amy Sutherland (Bo) and Sonya Andreis (Andy).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ (4126 Ingersoll Ave, Des Moines, IA 50312).
